A Vintage Bird Themed Shower...

Sunday I had the honor of hosting a shower for my friend Tricia. It was a great day full of celebration, friends, good food, and birds. I love hosting showers at my house- I love to dream up decorations, set the tables, and help plan the theme and menu. And I always have wonderful ladies to host with when it comes to showers. So below you will find a tour of the baby shower in pictures...
Getting ready- let the crafting begin! I consumed half the house preparing for the shower- glue and paper and netting and stamps and ink and burlap and who knows what else were strewn all over the kitchen Saturday. I love the look of craftiness scattered everywhere- makes me feel productive.
The place cards for all the food- and boy was it yummy food!
Stamps galore- I think I am developing an addiction to stamps- thanks Beth!!!
All the hostesses. These ladies did a great job with all the food, ideas, and decorations.
Table #1- crab stuffed mushrooms, squash casserole, toasted coconut mini cupcakes, no-bake birds nest cookies, and fruit kabobs- Martha Stewart has nothing on us!
The center piece. We had vintage children's books scattered around the house- it was the perfect touch to bring the shower all together.
Table #2- some over flow of food and the pink punch- which I drank way too much of...
So cute and perfect for the theme...
Lots of people- I love having people in our home
The mom-to-be with a gorgeous handmade blanket
All the loot- this baby girl is going to look so stylish!
Mom-to-be and grandmother-to-be.

It was such a lovely day, glad I got to be apart of it...

The shower was so special and I am so honored that you all took the time to make it great.

It was absolutely lovely. You have a gift for gracious (and grace-filled) hospitality.

Ya'll! It looks soooo good! Those nest cookies are rad. Whitney, I saw your banner! Chelsie, try not to get sucked into the stamps too hard. But if you do, I'm happy to take your overflow! Ha! Glad you liked Archiver's.
