A Post of Firsts...

Every thing is a first for Cora right now and I want to capture it all, but I can't, there are just too many. Thank goodness for my iPhone- it has been attached to my hip since this babe was born and has captures several great 'firsts' for me. You know, before Cora I had around 25 pictures on my phone. When I put them on my computer today I had over 100- oh how things change. So for your viewing pleasure, here are a couple firsts for our little girl...

First time for this new Mamma to hold Cora- seriously one of the most amazing moments in my life.
First time for Daddy to hold Cora- I am in love with the look on Steve's face in this picture.
First time to wear real clothes. Her coming home outfit- big pink bow and a sweet pea onesie with pink ruffles on her butt- the cuteness is almost too much for me!

First bath at home. Two brand new parents bathing a three day old- lots of laughing. Well, laughing from us, Cora was screaming:).
First doctors apartment on Christmas Eve and her first outing. She did so good and we discovered she loves riding in the car and listening to music play. Must be all that music I listened to in the car with her in my belly...
First Christmas Eve at home, so of course we had to put a pink tutu on. Love her dimples in this picture.
First Christmas dinner. I really like the angle in this photo- way to go Catherine for capturing this moment.
First smile caught on camera. This is Cora after a really good feeding. My Dad thinks this picture looks a lot like me when I was this little. This is one of my favorite pictures right now.
Cora's first walk around the block. The weather here in Houston has not been too terribly cold so we have ventured out a couple times. Cora loves her peanut sling. It is the perfect size for a newborn. Next we will move up to the Moby wrap and Baby Bjorn.

We are still doing well here in the Sargent household. Feedings continue to get better and better, which I am thankful for. We have had great help, which will be leaving tomorrow. Next week will be interesting- just the two of us during the day. I'm looking forward to getting into a 'routine' with this little one. But I know I have been spoiled with so much help- I have gotten a great nap every afternoon. We will see if I can do that when I am solo during the day:).
